Heart for the Arts

Our Arts Scholarships reward and support graduating high school seniors who have contributed to the arts in the community and intend to continue participating in or studying an area of artistic expression. 

History

In 2020, the Griffin Area Arts Alliance presented its first $500 arts scholarship endowed by the Gayle and Nora Goodin Art Collection. 

Graduating students in Spalding and Pike counties are eligible to apply for three $500 Arts Scholarships.

Application forms are now available at the Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce at 143 N. Hill Street in Griffin, at the Counselors’ Office at each high school and on this webpage, below. 

Completed applications with all supporting documents are due May 6th.

Scholarship winner(s) will be notified by Monday, May 24.  Check(s) will be awarded at the annual Griffin Area Arts Alliance Heart for the Arts presentation.
